Job Purpose
NBCUniversal is looking for a Director of Measurement Interoperability within the Measurement Innovation team.

The key objective of the Measurement Interoperability team is to develop systems that support data interoperability between NBCU and its partners, including measurement vendors, advertisers and agency partners. The team will support the data offerings that power the suite of measurement products released to the marketplace through the Audience Insights Hub, NBCU's innovative data clean room.

The Director in this role will be a technical leader responsible for architecting the systems and data that support the products developed by the Measurement Innovation team.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the productionalization of the measurement data clean room and its integration with external measurement partners and NBCU clients
• Architect and model the datasets in the data warehouse that support the measurement data clean room as well as wider initiatives of the Measurement Innovation team
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on experience for building scalable data ingestion infrastructures and facilitating effective sharing of this data with internal and external partners.
• Coordinate with team members in Data Science and Technology to identify best practices, policies, and procedures for data ingestion, processing and usage
• Become the internal SME on the datasets in the data warehouse and support the standardization and governance of existing and new datasets to be acquired
• Facilitate complex data requirements from start to implementation with internal and external stakeholder teams
• Collaborate with internal IT teams to define and scope required datasets

Qualifications/Requirements
• BS/BA degree, preferably in computer science, mathematics or related field.
• Excellent communication, planning and organization skills is required
• Must have 8 to 10 years of relevant data warehouse experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 3+ years experience building data pipelines with refined skills using one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, bash, etc.)
• Ability to workshop with other key business leaders internally and externally to develop future-state goals
• Knowledgeable in relational and big data architectures, data warehousing, data integration, data modelling, and data analysis techniques.
• Deep SQL expertise and data analysis skill required

Desired Characteristics
• Proficiency in Snowflake cloud data warehouse and leveraging its sharing capabilities is a huge plus
• Proficiency in working with cloud technologies such as AWS/S3, Data Warehouses. Experience with building applications with Snowflake leveraging its sharing capabilities strongly preferred.
• Some exposure or experience working with Data Science platforms such as Databricks or Dataiku would be a huge plus.
