Job Purpose
Reporting to the Vice President, Client Advocacy, the Director will be part of a team that engages with clients to grow NBCUniversal's Hispanic/Multicultural investment. This position requires working cross-functionally across teams (e.g., sales, research and marketing) to develop client-focused solutions demonstrating the value of the multicultural audiences and positioning NBCU assets to drive revenue.
Responsibilities
• Support/lead client engagement and identify key business drivers to help unlock NBCU solutions to reach and engage Hispanic & Multicultural audiences
• Attend/lead client and agency calls to identify client needs, participate in internal briefing sessions of cross-disciplinary teams, help develop strategic, effective response
• Develop & cascade deep understanding of relevant categories, their strategic issues, competitive landscape, potential disruptors and new initiatives.
• Partner with Insights & Positioning team to analyze data, identify trends, reinforce the consumer value proposition and show measurement outcomes
• Collaborate with sales to capitalize on all growth opportunities
• Research, analyze and report on changing consumer behaviors & media industry trends
• Support development of innovation solutions to meet client needs
• Support cross portfolio solutions by advancing and communicating ideas/solutions that stretch across platforms to meet client advertiser's needs. (linear, digital, mobile, social, VOD)
• Craft compelling, coherent presentations that illustrate the value of Hispanic/Multicultural consumers at NBCU.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in relevant experience (client, brand strategy, sales, agency strategy)
• Prior experience/exposure to categories: Retail, QSR, Pharma, CPG
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
