Responsibilities
The Director of Attribution at NBCU will be an experienced leader on the NBCU Ad Impact team. S/he will work closely with the Vice President of Advertising Impact to shape the strategic roadmap for advancing media effectiveness measurement capabilities. Specifically, this role will be responsible for the data science methodology that enables cross platform and full funnel attribution of media efficacy across the NBCU portfolio. This role requires not only thought leadership, but also as strong technical depth and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Develop advanced statistical and data science methods for measuring the impact of advertising on
our linear TV, digital and social media platforms
• Build cutting-edge AI and machine learning algorithms for multi-touch attribution
• Partner with cross functional teams to develop and deploy state of art full funnel and cross platform attribution solutions for a wide range of industry verticals
• Support senior sales leadership to maximize yield and hit revenue goals by demonstrating the effectiveness of advertiser spend across the NBCU portfolio
• Respond to client objectives with solutions that tap into NBCU's vast resources
• Build a world class team of self-motivated, hyper-performing data scientists

Qualifications/Requirements
• 6+ years of experience in data science roles at technology companies preferred
• 3+ years of people management experience with a track record of fostering positive work environments and developing deep talent benches preferred
• Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, Physics or an equivalent quantitative field
• Proven expertise in experimental design, causal inference, predictive modeling, machine learning and deep learning algorithms for multi-touch attribution
• Extensive experience in building data science products end-to-end, from conception and development to validation and deployment
• Expert level proficiency in scientific computing with R, python, tensorflow
• Strong proficiency in big data technology, including Hadoop, Hive / Pig, Spark
• Hands on experience working with large datasets on distributed data platforms
• Familiarity with modern approaches to TV and digital direct attribution in the media industry
• Project management experience working with third party vendor solutions a plus
• Capable of working efficiently and accurately with excellent attention to detail while handling multiple projects in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Capable of creative storytelling, data visualization and presentation
• Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
