Job Description
The Director – Ad Sales Reporting & Analytics is an essential position to the Sales Enablement team as this role will provide strategic reporting, with a focus on the impact of the shifting industry to a more digital marketplace, and be the product owner for reporting for NBCU Sales, Planning and Finance teams. This role will collaborate primarily with Ad Sales Executives to develop reporting strategies and tools in order to grow advertising sales. The position will support the entire NBCU Portfolio, both linear and digital.
• Create and maintain product roadmap, including both desktop and mobile versions of reporting applications and dashboards
• Strategize with executive business sponsors to optimize application effectiveness and efficiency, with both long and short term goals in mind
• Manage team to ensure portfolio reporting strategies are being executed
• Oversee support teams to ensure user needs/expectations are consistently met
• Communicate new project requirements and expectations to both business and technical executives
• Prioritize workload detailing future application functionality for development team
• Present and train business all Ad Sales users on current/future functionality
• Create and maintain all application documentation (i.e. requirements doc, training manual, release notes, etc)
• Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Marketing, Research, and Finance leaders on ad sales process enhancements
• Share best practices with co-workers in Sales Solutions, as well as other Comcast organizations
• Oversee and manage all Ad Sales ad-hoc reporting requests
• Focus on reporting needs for new Direct to Consumer business
• Consolidate reporting into standard look/feel and revamping reports to make more action insight driven
• Manage vendor relationships and remain current on vendor enhancements as new releases are introduced.
• Research new technologies, trends and software in customer relationship management

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years Business Intelligence/Data Analytics experience
• 3+ Years experience reporting for digital publishers
• Expert user of MS Office/MS Excel
• Proven experience with Business Intelligence and reporting technologies (e.g. MicroStrategy, Tableau, Salesforce)
• Great verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate with all levels in the Organization, both technical and non-technical
• Comfortable working with large data sets, and have experience extracting data from a data warehouse(Teradata/Oracle)
