Responsibilities
The Ad Sales Finance team is seeking an experienced professional to join as the Director, Ad Sales Finance, supporting all aspects of the NBC Entertainment TV pricing & sales forecasting, revenue analysis, systems maintenance, and financial closes. The positions will offer great exposure within the Entertainment Group, which includes Broadcast Primetime, Late Night, Daytime and Overnight properties.
• Provide ongoing support to Vice President, Ad Sales Finance in fundamental reporting and analysis
• Manage and develop Ad Sales Finance Manager
• Ownership of Sales reporting and metrics analysis (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Drive revenue forecasting process (budget, long range plan, estimates)
• Supervise execution of monthly/quarterly financial close
• Conduct and deliver financial insights and analysis on major sales KPIs including revenue variances, cash pacing, pricing, ratings, and liability.
• Analyze trends to identify risks and opportunities.
• Research drivers of key variances and trends
• Improve depth of existing reporting to provide better analytical tools for both Finance and Sales teams
• Work cross-functionally on ad hoc, Sales/Planning related project work

Qualifications/Requirements
• Four-year degree (B.A., B.S.) in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• 6+ years finance experience, preferably in ad sales, cable, or broadcast television environment
• Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills
• Experience working with SAP, Sales Systems preferred
• Ability to work effectively with diverse internal groups at all levels
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
