Responsibilities
Role Purpose
The Counsel, Enterprise Rights role will support NBCUniversal's Enterprise Rights management program, a transformational initiative seeks to evolve the way rights are acquired, analyzed, managed, and shared across NBCUniversal. This role will work collaboratively with divisions across NBCU to assist in creating best in class systems and processes to achieve maximum efficiency for the enterprise.

Responsibilities
• Review high volume of NBCU agreements across many divisions in support of enhancements to rights processes and systems.
• Advise on legal aspects and business logic for enterprise rights data model and system integrations.
• Represent legal department at regular meetings across all program workstreams.
• Lead regular meetings with NBCU divisions and work closely with them to develop business needs.
• Collaborate with the legal department and NBCU's Operations & Technology team on the implementation of contract lifecycle management.
• Partner with Operations & Technology to identify & support operational challenges across workstreams and divisions.
• Create and present program materials to enterprise stakeholders.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an attorney
• JD or LLM degree from an accredited law school
• Member of the California or New York bar

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Universal City, CA or New York, NY
• Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU's Alternative Dispute Resolution Program

• Contract drafting experience preferred
• Familiarity and comfort with software systems and other technology in a business setting
