Responsibilities

Role Summary:

The Universal Filmed Entertainment Group (UFEG) HR team at NBCUniversal is committed to provide the best partnership and service to our business, creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture, and continuing a supportive and collaborative team dynamic.

This role will support the day-to-day transactional HR responsibilities for full lifecycle employment activities, working closely with HR Business Partners and employees.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting & Onboarding
• Prepare job descriptions for open positions, and advertise open jobs via nbcunicareers.com
• Facilitate new hire onboarding process including generating offer letters and processing background checks
• Process new hires in SAP
• Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth new hire experience

HR Processes & Data
• Own and project manage roll up reports and requests
• Process HRIS transactions (hires, personal data changes, promotions, terminations, etc.)
• Serve as primary user for all HR systems: SAP, BrassRing, etc.
• Run reoccurring and ad hoc reports and analyze HR metrics on attrition, performance, diversity, etc.
• Liaise with business partners including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation and Finance in order to field questions and resolve day to day employee issues
• Assist with annual processes (performance review process, salary planning, benefits open enrollment, etc.)
• Keep apprised & updated on new regulations, company policies & procedures
• Participate in various HR projects and initiatives including training planning and implementation, succession and compensation planning

Administrative
• Create, update, and maintain organizational charts as needed
• Provide administrative HR support, including preparing presentations, generating monthly and ad hoc reports, sending employee communications and other projects as needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree desired or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of experience in a professional work setting

Desired Characteristics:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Labor Relations or related field
• Prior experience in HR preferred
• Service Minded – You put employee needs first
• Systems savvy – You're proficient with MS Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook and intuitively navigate HR systems
• Analytical – You've never met a data point you didn't like. You enjoy telling stories and drawing insights through numbers
• Communicates with ease – You have a way with words; written and verbal
• Agile - Extremely flexible and able to shift priorities as needed and manage several work streams at a time
• Resourceful – If you don't have the answer, you figure it out. You're comfortable navigating a complex environment to obtain info and seek buy-in
