Universal Pictures International (UPI) is the International Distribution and Marketing division for Universal Pictures. In the United Kingdom, Austria, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Russia, Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Brazil, India and China, UPI directly markets and distributes movies through its local offices, creating campaigns and release strategies that respond to the culture and market behaviour of those territories. In other parts of the world, UPI partners with Paramount, Sony & Warner Brothers in the distribution of all four companies' films. Universal Pictures is part of NBCUniversal, one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies in the development, production, and marketing of entertainment, news, and information to a global audience. The Coordinator, EMEA Distribution reports directly to the Director Distribution, EMEA and will be responsible for supporting the EMEA Distribution team in the planning and execution of distribution strategies across OpCo, UIP and Licensee teams in 40+ countries, as well as ensuring communications and reporting is effectively handled at both Head Office & Territory level. Duties will include performance analysis (from greenlight to post-mortem review), benchmarking, dating strategy as well as report accuracy, data validation and administrative system overview.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• To provide regular and ad hoc support to the EMEA Distribution team in sales & distribution related activities with a focus on strategy and commercial planning throughout the EMEA region (e.g., Collate, maintain, validate and distribute relevant reports, decks & presentations including, but not restricted to, box office and rental results, comparison performance data, genre and seasonality analysis, market statistics)
• To oversee all aspects of distribution of films in small specified territories; these territories will be set (and can also be amended, from time to time) according to the developing needs of the department.
• To work on ad hoc distribution and system-related projects/issues. Working closely with the other divisions within and alongside the wider International Distribution team (specifically IT, global strategy and operations, international research, finance and marketing). Applying an understanding and experience of EMEA distribution's changing needs to help streamline the current workflow for both head office and territory users with our internal systems.
• To maintain EMEA territory org database and make sure HO distribution lists are up to date including overseeing SSO creation and maintenance, MAGIC access and training for territory users as well as liaising with UIP Operations on OpCos and Licensees updates
• Ensure pre & post opening weekend reports from territories are submitted and validated in a timely manner and Monday morning estimates for UPI titles in release are reflected in MAGIC in good time
• Maintaining internal reporting system ''MAGIC'' for EMEA Universal & Competitive films through title creation to release. Ensuring territories have a good practice in entering timely data, that their release dates are current and box office estimates are present and validated for the EMEA region
• Keeping a department record of TCR's (Territory contribution reports) and release dates for UPI titles that have not yet been submitted for the EMEA region

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
• The role requires superior organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills. The individual must possess the ability to work independently ensuring the quality of operational systems as well as working collaboratively as part of a team across a variety of business units and the EMEA partners. The ideal candidate will also possess:
• An understanding of the film and/or media markets. Theatrical and international experience is desirable.
• At least 1-2 years of administrative or operational support in the entertainment industry.
• At least 1-2 years of direct experience within a sales or marketing function.
• Experience of being accountable for discreet projects / areas of work is desirable.
• Ideally 1-2 years of experience in a territory facing role.
• Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably under tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment
• High level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and proofreading skills as well as an understanding of culturally diverse business environments
• Detail oriented and aware of the importance and impact of data quality
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive
• Strong experience with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
