Responsibilities

Associate Producer, Special Projects

What you'll do:
• Support team's managers and overall event and special projects production execution
• Manage production elements, including coordinating with designers on event graphics
• Write on-screen graphics, such as lower-thirds, as needed during live broadcast s
• Write, produce & oversee editing of video packages and elements
• Assist in building rundowns, chyrons, fullscreens, video plug-ins for event day production
• Transcribe interviews and distribute ''newsiest'' headlines and excerpts
• Coordinate across teams on process and execution of sharing event content on TV & digital platforms
• Assist team within virtual platforms curating questions/comments and managing breakout sessions
• Coordinate on production of the events podcast ''The Keynote''
• Manage event livestreams
• Work with the technical operations team to find efficiencies and best practices for event production
• Assist in the coordination of remote production: contacting potential venues, hotels, working with vendors, etc.

What you'll bring:
• Two or more years of related experience within a creative producer with writing & editing experience

Desired Characteristics

You'll stand out if:
• Knowledge of iNews, Stratus, Excel and Powerpoint
• Strong newswriting and copyediting skills
• An eye for detail
• A passion for storytelling, entertaining, and engaging live audiences
• HTML/website-building experience, and a willingness to learn more as needed
• Excellent problem- solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities
• Excellent organization, detail orientated prioritization, time management and communication skills
