As the media business continues to evolve at a rapid pace, data and insight are central to NBCU's value proposition. Demand for quick and salient soundbites is at an all-time high, and these insights are critical in driving ad revenue and differentiating NBCU in the marketplace. Additionally, the curation and accessibility of information is as important as the information itself.

In response to the demands of the business, we are bringing together a team of specialists who will be dedicated to delivering robust insights to internal and external stakeholders. This team will work closely with sales, marketing, and strategy teams to respond to day-to-day client demand, enable the rapid dissemination of information, and build stories to support NBCUniversal's vast portfolio across NBC News, Sports and Entertainment brands.

The Sr. Analyst of Insights Solutions Group will be focused on working with the team Managers in execution of in-bound inquiries related to Insights and Research. This will span across NBCU One Platform, from linear to digital and social as well as various content and demographics.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Support the Insights & Research team in the creation of analyses, reports, presentation, and marketing materials that help drive insights across NBCU
• Leverage syndicated and custom research tools to create compelling narratives and impactful sales presentations
• Partner with Agency Partnerships teams with insights-led findings to the marketplace
• Work with Research counterparts across Insights & Research, network research teams, marketing, and more groups to leverage internal knowledge and insights for sales purposes

Qualifications/Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in research, measurement, or insights within the media industry, ideally with direct experience in linear and digital TV
• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience in analyzing TV and digital video performance using traditional and nontraditional approaches and metrics
• Deep knowledge of content and offerings across broadcast and cable video landscape
• Outstanding project management and time management skills: proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and organizational objectives
• Desire to learn quantitative/qualitative research methodologies, survey design and analysis
• Experience partnering with a fast-paced, high performing sales team and comfortable in a client-facing role / presenting directly to external parties
• Proficiency in TV and digital applications and other syndicated research tools (Nielsen¬ NPower, AdIntel, TV Brand Effect, Lake 5, comScore, Adobe Analytics, MRI, etc.)
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint a must
• Prior experience with BI tools such as DOMO & Tableau a plus
