Job Description
BACKGROUND:
NBCUniversal is looking for an Analyst of Consumer Insights to help reveal primary research insights in support of the Fandango portfolio.
This individual will be a critical player within the Consumer Insights team, tasked with supporting primary research projects and conducting robust analysis in support of the team's strategic objectives, especially as they relate to a variety of business initiatives across Fandango, Fandango at Home, and Rotten Tomatoes. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Market Research & Insights in support of stakeholders across the organization.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS:
A researcher ready to have an impact and dig into the data that helps drive strategic decision-making as it relates to storytelling, marketing, and strategic positioning. You should have experience with quantitative and qualitative primary research techniques and market research, including conducting robust analysis to discover the story in the data.

• Conduct meaningful analysis: Contribute to optimizing marketing across all the Fandango portfolio, informing audience insights, creative optimization, marketing positioning, etc.

• Broaden your research knowledge: Expand your primary research skills and experience as you learn how to solve problems through creative research design and data analysis

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• Must love movies and be familiar with the Theatrical & Streaming landscape
• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field (Business, Market Research, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, etc.)
• 1+ years of experience in market research and data analysis (includes internship experience), contributing to the analysis and completion of complex projects
• Excellent writing and storytelling skills
• Basic statistics knowledge and experience
• Proven collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Mastery of Microsoft Office suite
Desired Characteristics:
• Master's Degree a plus
• Experience using survey and data analysis tools such as Qualtrics, Displayr a plus
• Experience using syndicated tools such as comScore, MRI Simmons a plus
• Be able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Detail oriented and deadline driven
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Experience effectively interacting with different, complex teams
Additional Requirements:
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
