Job Description
Responsibilities

This position reports to the Director of Media operations and will be responsible for the overall management of all Affiliate Customer Support functions for NBCU Latin America. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Manage Affiliate Customer Support team
• Liaison between Uplink Providers and Affiliates for customer support issues and authorizations
• Coordinate with Affiliate sales team for decoder authorizations/deauthorization
• Manage the Inventory Management of existing regional decoders
• New decoder inventory management
• Maintain technical contacts and day to day relationships
• Brasil JV liaison for decoder management with Encompass
• Decoder management of direct brands distributed in Brasil
• Coordinate and manage relationship with decoder distribution logistics vendors
• Coordinate and execute technical distribution migrations between providers, as necessary
• Assist in the creation of P.O.s and the reconciliation of received invoices from Logistics vendors and Decoder vendors.
• Coordinate new decoder forecasting and acquisitions
• Perform data entry and data management on Medea system
• Provide distribution reports as requested
• Coordination support to affiliate VOD delivery integrations
• Coordinate and execute regional technical surveys
• Work with upper management to establish customer support workflows and procedures
• Work with upper management to assist in defining longer term distribution strategy.
• Coordinate Decoder recovery or replacement as needed

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS
• College degree required; technical degree desirable
• Min 5 years customer support experience
• Min 3 years management responsibilities
• Experience in Linear Networks decoder management & logistics
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Inventory management skills required
• Spanish Proficiency, English desired
• Knowledge of Medea decoder management platform is desirable
• Knowledge of the Latin America Linear Networks landscape is required
• Proficiency with Office Suite of tools required
• Understanding of video signal distribution technologies is a plus
• Regional travel as requiredul>
