Responsibilities
The UI/UX Designer will be a critical member of the Product Team, responsible for designing and developing NBC Sports Gaming products. The ideal person will have the ability to design and build basic web pages, while working with matrixed UI/UX and tech teams to drive the look, feel and functionality of new products across web, mobile and connected devices. In undertaking the main responsibilities of the role the UI/ UX Designer will;
• Design products and features for the NBC Sports Gaming business, including NBCSportsEDGE.com and the EDGE app.
• Collaborate with marketing and business teams to design and build effective front-end experiences.
• Collaborate with fellow members of the Product and Technology teams to conceptualize, wireframe, prototype and develop business requirements into usable, useful and delightful products.
• Take ownership of your products from requirements and design through implementation.
• Manage and track project timelines and schedules to ensure components are delivered on-time.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of all deliverables.
• Keep apprised of industry trends.
• Identify innovative Product opportunities to grow our business.

Qualifications/Requirements
To be considered for the role, candidates must be able to demonstrate;
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with UI/UX design and integration for websites or apps.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.
• Basic experience with javascript frontend frameworks (Angular, Ember, React).
• Basic experience with HTML, CSS, javascript, major UI platforms and design methodology.
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting project status in JIRA.

Additional skills and experience that would be advantageous;
• Experience with React Native or Mobile Development
• Experience in iOS, tvOS and Android Platforms
• Knowledge of additional platforms (OTT, Roku, Samsung, Xbox, Amazon Fire), UX guidelines, design language and interface design is beneficial
• Working knowledge of Invision, Principle, After Effects or related prototype software
• Understanding of development best practices and product lifecycle
• Experience designing registration/subscription consumer journeys
• Experience developing CMS applications preferred
• Experience using atomic design concepts preferred
• Experience with MVC and Web API's preferred
• Familiarity with Drupal
• Knowledge of sports betting and fantasy sports terminology
