Responsibilities

The Strategic Account Specialist will be a day-to-day point person for designated partners across the NBC Sports Next Sponsorship portfolio. This role will work directly with the Director, Ad Strategy & Planning, Strategic Account

Managers, as well as Ad Operations to help pre-sale planning, in-campaign execution, and post-sale deliverable processes to help drive revenue growth for our properties including GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The role requires strong collaboration with a many cross-functional groups including salespersons, ad operations, marketing, research, and other stakeholders across the Strategic Partnerships team as well the greater NBC Sports Next organization. A business-savy, well-organized individual is sought to help build a growing part of the NBC Sports Next business.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Work closely with ad operations on inventory management for all clients
• Create multi-platform digital media plans across various NBC Sports Next properties and platforms based on client requirements
• Collaborate with salespersons to ensure delivery of all campaign deliverables
• Assist account management of designated accounts working closely with agency and client direct counterparts
• Generate campaign reporting, screenshots, and forecast requests
• Create reporting processes in partnership with Director, Ad Strategy & Planning and Ad Operations
• Ensure all elements of sponsorship are properly executed across various business units
• Assist in sales collateral creation and edits working closely with Director, Ad Sales Marketing
• Provide updates to salespersons, directors, and leaders on specific accounts as needed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum 1+ Year Experience in Sports Industry
• Highly organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of sports industry

Additional Job Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY or Stamford, CT
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
