Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A, Group Digital

Responsibilities
Role Purpose:
The Senior Financial Analyst is a key position on the NBC Sports Group FP&A team. This role will support the group in all financial aspects, with a focus on the Digital Media business. The NBC Sports Digital Group is a growing business that is constantly exploring new revenue streams as well as general cost analysis. This position is an integral part of the team and reports into the Sr. Director of FP&A.

Responsibilities:
• Support the Sports operational finance team in all aspects of planning processes, budgeting, and monthly pacing, including analyzing key metrics and overall trends
• Assist in creation of presentations summarizing performance for Senior Management
• Consolidate Sports Group Digital financials on a monthly and quarterly basis for reporting
• Support operations with Accounts Payable, Sourcing, and Vendor processes
• Communicate regularly with teams supporting the Digital initiative, including Editorial, Video, Digital Partnerships, and Short-Form content production
• Maintain partnerships with other NBCU divisions such as Ad Sales, Tax, Legal, and Risk Management to ensure NBC Sports Digital follows all policies and best practices
• Participate in ad hoc projects and industry analysis, as necessary

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Finance or Accounting

Additional Qualifications
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent excel skills
• Financial reporting experience
• Ability to work in rapidly changing environment
• Experience in using budget/planning systems a plus
