Freelance Production Assistant - Olympics

Responsibilities

This is a limited term position with an estimated end date in the middle of March 2022, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

Role Purpose

The Production Assistant is responsible for assisting associate producers and producers in the development and execution of Olympic profiles and sales deliverables which will include long form, short form, and historic lookbacks.

Responsibilities
• Assist production personnel in all phases of Olympic and Paralympic feature and sales and marketing elements
• Source and organize materials for edits
• Assist editor and producer throughout edit process
• Track rights and music usage
• Assist in editing pieces, font coordination and sport, photo and video research where required
• Collaborate with producer on storytelling aspects of production

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum six (6) months' experience in production

Additional Qualifications
• Ability to quickly understand and assess opportunities and/or problems and respond with creative ideas and solutions
• Must be a team player
• Demonstrated background of contributing to complex projects
• Experience with non-linear editing
• A love of the Olympics

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
