Freelance Production Assistant - NBC Sports Washington

Responsibilities

The Production Assistant is responsible for supporting the production of live shows on NBC Sports Washington. The candidate assists the producer in gathering video and creating graphics, monitors live and recorded events, helps coordinate incoming live guest feeds, logs highlights, and operates technical equipment as required.
• Involvement in all day-of show procedures, assisting production team in all stages of production
• Use iNews rundown to create on-air graphics
• Operate ISQ equipment in control room to put graphics on-air
• Assist in recording multiple feeds into the server
• Ability to use Zoom, Facetime, and Skype to record content
• Search for and access content from a server
• Perform research for statistical information
• Assist in booking guests

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 6 months TV experience (including internships)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Internet

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Bethesda, MD
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

• 1+ years TV Production experience preferred (including internships or degree program), experience with iNews is a plus
• Editing experience is a plus

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments under high pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow direction and work independently when necessary
