Freelance Production Assistant, Horse Racing - NBC Sports

Responsibilities

This is a part-time project / limited term position with an estimated duration of up to 6 - 12 months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

The Production Assistant is responsible for assisting personnel in all phases of sports production for NBC Sports with a concentration on Horse Racing.
• Graphics Coordination for Live Productions in both Stamford and on Remote
• Support Production Staff in Edits (Avid) and Tape
• Assist in Screening, Logging and Transcribing of footage
• Securing Video and Audio footage to be used in Packages and Features
• Learn NBC Sports Digital Archive System
• Perform required Sports Research
• Generate and distribute story and show ideas
• Participation in all show production meetings

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelors' Degree or equivalent work experience
• 1-2 years minimum of professional production experience
• Live Graphics Coordination experience preferred

• Possess a high level of initiative
• Must be a team player
• Have exceptional oral and written communication skills

Eligibility Requirements
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT and be open to travelling for Remote events
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
