Job Description

Responsibilities
Role Purpose - Support the Senior Design staff by building out and versioning approved designs and animations as well as creating original static and motion artwork and logos when needed.

Responsibilities
• Work with Senior Creatives and Project Managers to estimate job time requirements and plan workflows
• Version graphic and animated elements for The NBC Sports Group including Network graphics, show packages, event insert graphics and titles.
• Must be able to design, build and animate original work in After Effects
• Prep artwork for ongoing shows including cutting out athlete headshots and prepping logo art for Duet directories.
• Create original logos and layouts for both production and marketing purposes.
• Version approved graphics for all NBC Sports properties
• Design and build presentations for senior staff and content distribution

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• College graduate with degree in graphic design, fine arts or related field
• 3+ years experience working at a network or broadcast design agency

Additional Qualifications
• Candidates must be organized with their files and must work quickly and efficiently
• Must QC own work prior to giving to Project Managers for 2nd QC. Errors and omissions must be at a minimum.
• Understanding of the implementation of design elements in network television, social media and live sports environments a must
• Strong Knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Cinema 4D, including modeling texturing and animating is a big plus.

Eligibility Requirements
• Willingness to work overtime with short notice
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, Connecticut
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older

• Must be flexible, detail-oriented, deadline driven and a good collaborator
• Love of sports a plus
