Line Producer

Job Description

Responsibilities:
• Build & execute television show formats at a high level of production quality with an eye to innovate
• Ability to integrate both social media & digital production elements into shows
• Manage talent needs as well as full production staff for any given show
• Oversee logistics and booking for NBC Sports Talent and guests who will appear on any given show
• Showcase creativity with innovative content concepts and the latest technology to present the audience unique content
• Formulate & manage special projects (i.e. one-time specials, preview/review show)
• Responsible for editing video for upcoming segments, building graphics, and post-producing content from show
• Collaborate with newsroom including digital team to ensure content is integrated and shared for all platforms
• Proactively identify content opportunities in collaboration across internal teams including sales and marketing from concept ideation through execution

Position reports directly to Coordinating Producer

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a linear producer role; sports television experience preferred
• Ability to balance multiple production projects at the same time
• Ability to produce pieces of the highest quality under tight deadlines
• College Degree or equivalent years of related work experience
• Thorough knowledge of and passion for sports, especially locally and regionally
• Experience with editing and motion graphics, ability to edit on Abode Premiere is a plus
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with FS7 and DSLR shooting
• Understanding of TV safe audio levels
