Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced multi-channel marketing expert to manage a robust customer acquisition and retention lifecycle marketing strategy, including complex marketing automation programs that drive results by communicating with prospects & customers in timely and relevant ways. This role will implement new acquisition strategies to drive engagement, retention, cross-sell and upsell strategies for existing customer bases across our GoMotion & TeamUnify businesses. Specifically, this role will work with internal and external partners (State/National Governing Bodies, sales team, account management teams, etc.) to activate joint initiatives to drive customer adoption of our products and services.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable owning both strategy and execution. They will have built and managed complex, high volume email programs for successful e-commerce brands and will have experience working with marketing automation platforms like Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Exact Target). The successful candidate will understand personalization, segmentation, and A/B testing methodologies and will have a proven track record growing audience lists, building social and retargeting audiences, generating sales leads, driving sales, and facilitating customer engagement. Additionally, the ideal candidate will also have broad experience in project managing the implementation of other digital marketing tactics such as paid social and organic campaigns, SEM, the development of landing pages, forms and widgets to convert prospects to inbound leads, as well as the ability to think out of the box to build creative marcomm strategies. Further, how to optimize cost per lead and measure ROI on campaigns.

As an Associate Marketing Manager you will...
• Own day-to-day Email Marketing Automation strategy, segmentation, technology, optimization, and analytics; Manage overall production process, perform quality assurance reviews and other activities to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of campaign deployments
• Support appropriate paid digital strategies to drive customer acquisition
• Setup and/or maintenance of complex, logic/data-driven customer journeys across multiple message delivery channels
• Develop high converting responsive email templates and landing pages for our customers marketing activities, including oversight of any external agency support
• Continually test and optimize through A/B and multivariate testing of subject lines, message content, images, offers, landing pages, frequency, segmentation and more
• Increase customer retention & engagement, and grow the contact list
• Interface and manage internal and external partners such as State/National Governing Bodies to promote joint initiatives.
• Partner with a cross-functional team to automate processes, investigate smarter targeting capabilities, and assess opportunities for improving data and efficient team operations
• Work closely with the internal sales team to implement effective acquisition, engagement, retention, and cross-sell campaigns for prospects and current customers across the GoMotion & TeamUnify portfolio

Associate Marketing Manager Knowledge and Skills:
• Demonstrated success building and automating email strategy for e-commerce, or similar company; knowledge of SaaS software sales cycles, B2B marketing, & sales funnel helpful
• Deep knowledge of email, landing page, and lead generation best practices and domestic/international CAN-SPAM laws, etc.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and design templates for email
• Strong analytical skills with experience designing and executing A/B tests
• Excellence across acquisition, retention, and customer engagement.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to interface with remote offices and agencies
• Detail-oriented and endlessly energetic with excellent organization & communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite

Qualifications/Requirements
• Four year BS or BA degree

• 3 or more years of email marketing experience with strong brands, demonstrating success with implementing multiple acquisition and nurture campaign strategies

• 3 or more years of digital marketing experience spanning paid social, paid search, and the development of web applications and journeys to drive customer acquisition and engagement.

Desired Characteristics
• Knowledge of industry email marketing, CAN-SPAM and EU Opt-in Directive (GDPR,) best practices, and innovations

• Solid understanding and knowledge of campaign lifecycles and audience segmentation

• Salesforce & Google Analytics experience required

• Combination of B2B and B2C experience highly desirable
