Responsibilities
NBC News Digital is looking for an experienced Senior Digital Operations Specialist to join the Production Management team. The ideal candidate must have a background in production with experience in operations. This role will support Production Management across Pre-Production, Production, Post-Production and Editorial teams. Assist Production Mangers to track projects through their lifecycles from conception to archive. The candidate needs to be task oriented with strong communication skills to keep productions on schedule and drive adoption of new production technologies.

Job Duties:
• Support Production Mangers efforts to maintain efficient production pipelines
• Track deliverables, resources, equipment and elements across various productions
• Assist in remote field production logistics, planning and implementation
• Drive adoption of new production technologies deployed across user groups for proper execution
• Maintain archive processes to ensure deliverables are timely and executed correctly
• Coordinate seamless handoff of media throughout the media supply chain
• Anticipate, react to and resolve operational issues with urgency
• Operate production equipment (camera, lights, sound, etc.) as needed, directed by editorial

Qualifications/Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in Production, Operations Post-

Production, Media or a related field
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite, Final Cut, Avid Media

Composer and transcoding variety of codecs
• On-Set production and remote experience
Desired Characteristics
• Social media, OTT, and/or data savvy, with a passion for

hybrid production environments
• Hands-on experience with Sony, Canon and other Cinema

cameras and DSLRs
• Meticulous attention to detail with ability to be a pro-

active problem solver
• Proven interpersonal, organizational, written and oral

communications skills
• Ability to manage multiple, competing workstreams and

priorities simultaneously
