Responsibilities
In this role, you'll concept and work on people and culture activities for a growing 300+ employee Digital Tech & Product team. What's exciting about this team is that they work on all of our Digital assets including publishing, streaming, commerce, lifestyle and subscriptions. This includes the sites for NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC Digital, and TODAY Lifestyle, along with Dateline 24/7, NBCU News NOW, MSNBC The Choice, Shop TODAY, CNBC PRO and more! This role will focus on process and program development for the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, learning and development, performance management, talent analytics, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

Learning & Development – Partner with HRBP team to make learning recommendations and develop curriculum based on talent data and insights. Hire and manage vendors tailored to our unique and diverse populations. Facilitate programs in hybrid, in-person and virtual environments.

Workforce Planning – Assist with talent calibration meetings and planning efforts by facilitating talent discussions, capturing themes, and ensuring that the talent review process is 'operationalized' and integrated into other talent-related activities. Strong facilitation skills plus a diagnostic approach.
Data & Analytics – Use metrics and data to tell a story about the needs of the organization to operating leaders as well as assess if our talent programs are working and how effective they are. You will assist with our annual survey, interpret data and uncover insights, and develop and analyze other types of surveys upon request. Must be a savvy with Excel.
Program Management: Define, document, and maintain the scope of all assigned projects. Create, track, and maintain project plans. Develop a trusting partnership with HR business partners and operating leaders for successful program ideation, development and implementation.

Forge Partnerships: In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team, create pipeline of Tech talent with external organizations, programs and institutions by building NBCU News Group brand awareness and cultivating relationships within the Tech Industry.
Onboarding & Offboarding – Create an enviable onboarding experience (30-60-90 days) for the NBCU News Group business unit; Seek feedback on the process and continually improve and refine it. Coordinate seamlessly with the rest of the HRBP team to ensure consistency in roll out. Ensure process is just as good when employees exit.
Event Planning – Plan events to drive engagement across the entire organization, such as executive roundtables, lunch and learns, off-sites, and other team development sessions.
Research Trends & Networking - Pursue opportunities to build the NBCU News Group people brand in the local market. Attend industry events to stay up to date on latest OD trends. Partner with management in different initiatives that could attract talent.

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree (required)
• Excel expertise
• A minimum of 5 years of experience preferably in a technology organization and/or product development space
• Master's Degree in organization development, organization or I/O psychology, HR (preferred)
• Certifications in DiSC, leadership 360 assessments, etc. a plus.
