Responsibilities
Role Summary/Purpose:
Field Operations is looking for an Information Technology professional to assist in the implementation and deployment of IT infrastructure and end-user services for all major News remotes worldwide. Only the passionate should apply. Candidate will be required to install/support all onsite hardware (PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals), software (Microsoft Office suite, Avid iNews, Citrix, VPN, MCDS, etc.) and network-related infrastructure (CAT 5/6 wiring, Cisco APs, media converters, switches, etc).

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in IT and news field production
- Must be willing to deploy for extended periods of time

into hazardous environments foreign and domestic
- Must be willing to attend hazardous environment and

first aid training
- Demonstrated knowledge of Active Directory

architecture and permissions structure
- Knowledge of all Microsoft operating systems
- Knowledge of MAC operating systems
- Experience with Ghost disk imaging
- Thorough understanding WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP,

TDM

Eligibility Requirements:
- Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on

weekends with short notice
- Must be willing to work at the station in Long Island City

New York
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the

United States and anywhere in the world
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have a valid passport
