We're looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition to support our iconic News brands including NBCUniversal Local and NBC News Group (made up of NBC News, MSNBC and CNBC.) This means that you'll lead enterprise-wide TA initiatives for multiple (did we mention iconic) brands. Just as fast as news breaks – you'll be ready to implement Recruitment strategies to help power the operations of our news divisions. You'll work hand-in-hand with HR leads and business partners to develop a deep understanding of the industry and deliver on recruitment needs and priorities.

What you'll do:
• Lead a diverse team of Recruiters to maintain and build upon the candidate experience.
• Be a part of NBCU TA's leadership team where you'll contribute ideas, and best practices to your talented peers.
• Be a subject matter expert for your business and develop a rhythm with stakeholders to be in-the-know with the latest industry trends.
• Design and implement talent attraction strategies to ensure your team can provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool
• Partner with internal stakeholders to develop pipelines and referral processes with established DEI teams and initiatives.
• Analyze team metrics and data to ensure an accurate picture is available for business area to make informed decisions.
• Proactively source, screen, interview, and place qualified candidates. This includes partnering with hiring managers throughout the selection process.
• Identify/clarify hiring specifications and competencies, document and confirm requirements to ensure truthful and detailed job descriptions, and develop action plans to maximize candidate sourcing
• Build strong relationships with HR leaders and hiring managers to facilitate a cohesive partnership and continue education around talent attraction
• Ensure OFCCP compliance with all recruitment work undertaken within client group

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum eight (8) years' experience in Recruitment and/or Human Resources with a strong focus on high-level/skilled professionals in Entertainment/Media (New experience strongly preferred)
• Minimum five (5) years full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong focus on high-level/skilled and/or Entertainment/News/Media recruitment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a team

• Proficient with ATS system and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Internet savvy
