Internally, this role is called a Forecasting Manager, s itting within the forecasting the team you will be responsible for the prediction of audience viewing and impacts for the ViacomCBS portfolio of channels, along with any new channel launches. The role will require analysis of viewing trends, gaining an in-depth knowledge of current and forthcoming content and schedule, networking with stakeholders across the business and delivering accurate forecasts in a timely manner.

What will you be doing?
• Responsible for the long-term forecast of impacts, SOCI and share of viewing across a wide range of audiences for the ViacomCBS brands. This requires knowledge of the content, competition, seasonality, marketing and schedules
• Compare actual performance to forecasts on a monthly basis to refine modelling
• Develop and refine forecasting models to become more accurate
• Align short-term linear forecasts with Airtime ratings team
• Prepare weekly performance commentary for ViacomCBS brands
• Prepare and submit monthly forecast submission
• Assist with the ROI process - forecasting viewing and revenue for new content
• Key point of contact for the Programming, Scheduling, Research, Streaming and Finance teams. Build and maintain these relationships to ensure continued drive towards common goal
• Review content and scheduling scenarios using established forecast models or developing new methods, using output to inform future decision making

What are we looking for?
• In-depth understanding of the television and media market as a whole
• Knowledge of and experience in forecasting and/or research & insight
• Competent in reporting tools (Adobe, TechEdge, Tableau) with willingness to learn new tools as they arise
• Knowledge across all platforms (linear – FTA/pay, VoD – My5/affiliate, AVoD – Pluto, SVoD – Paramount +) to a level that enables forecasts and ad-hoc request to be fulfilled
• Knowledge of viewing metrics such as Av '000s, share of viewing, reach, impacts etc.
• Experience in presenting to small and large groups of peers and senior management
• Advanced numerical skills
• Exceptional excel skills
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to work with autonomy and take responsibility for your own workload
