We seek to appoint a Senior Windows System Administrator in our Toronto facility to ensure the ongoing operation of our IT systems.
• Provide technical support related to Windows server and desktop systems for Mr. X, focused on our Toronto and Montreal sites.
• On-going technical analysis of server and desktop systems to determine appropriate improvements or otherwise.
• Working with System Architect team to support deployments, architecture changes, configuration changes and related.
• Carrying out upgrades and other maintenance activities as relates to Windows server & desktop systems.
• Maintain, support and administer site Active Directory services.
• Support communication systems – O365, Teams, Sharepoint.
• Collaborate with other technology groups on various matters.
• Create and maintain support documentation.

Qualifications
• Proven experience supporting Windows servers & desktop systems, ideally within M&E industry.
• Experience working within a IT team that is supporting cross platform environments.
• Knowledge of NAS technologies and related protocols.
• Solid experience of implementing and supporting Windows Server 2012+, O365 & Exchange.
• Experience of Virtualisation (Vmware) and management of VM infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, Routing, Switching and Firewalls.
• Strong understanding of powershell and ability to demonstrate usage of it for automation.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively.
• Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure.
