The Tech Anim Artist is responsible for setting up skin, muscle, cloth, hair and fur on our hero-creatures, as well as giving life and dynamics to huge environment sets. They are tasked primarily to develop and design the tools and setups associated with a variety of complex creature deformations. They are problem solvers with a balance of technical and creative skills to define the workflows to streamline our shot-making processes.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of Houdini
• Previous Experience in VFX environment
• Knowledge of Vex and/or Python
Any of the following technical skills is a bonus:
• Knowledge of Maya, nCloth and nHair
• Previous experience with Linux
• Knowledge of C++
• Knowledge of Mel
• Knowledge of Marvelous Designer
Any of the following experience is a great advantage
• Previous education or experience with Rigging
• Knowledge of muscle and skin simulations
