The Moving Picture Company (MPC) has been a global leader in visual effects (VFX) for over 25 years and counting, with established facilities across the globe. We are renowned for adding visual wonder and creative expertise to the film, advertising and entertainment industries, with some of our most famous projects including the blockbuster movies Blade Runner 2049, The Jungle Book, The Lion King and 1917, and advertising campaigns for Channel 4, Sony and IKEA.

MPC is part of Technicolor's premiere portfolio of VFX brands and services, working alongside Mikros, and The Mill to provide offerings tailored to the specific creative and storytelling needs of each project. Our Editorial team at MPC serves as the key link between our clients, our in-house production teams, and the artists around the globe working on our film projects.

Responsibilities include:
• Managing the internal edits of film sequences and shots
• Overseeing ingestion and processing of incoming client material
• Running client and internal screening room review sessions
• Sending completed work to clients or other facilities
• Creating in-house reels including annual company reels, show reels, technical breakdowns, and awards reels

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses:
• Previous experience in an editorial environment, preferably in visual effects
• Proven organizational experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Experience with Linux
• Basic understanding of color science
• Knowledge of Avid, Premiere, and Nuke
• Experience with a variety of film and HD formats
• Strong technical background and experience
