Senior Nuke Compositor

Job Description

Our Creative Advertising team in LA is looking for an experienced Senior Nuke Compositor to join our team.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:
• delivering high-end, complex VFX shots and sequences that can incorporate CG, live action, stock footage, DMP and design elements
• pushing the creative on each job to a higher level, making suggestions and working closely with CDs, EPs and clients to ensure best results
• mentoring juniors and mid-level artists to share knowledge around the studios and help them achieve higher levels of compositing
• contributing to pitches, client calls and bids
• on-set shoot supervision and preproduction planning
• creative problem solving and a general interest in new technologies
• building toolsets when needed and setting the looks for the most complex scenes
• fitting well into the team and ensuring a collaborative and fun work environment for everyone

Qualifications
• Minimum 5-7 years of production experience in Advertising or Episodics.
• Expert knowledge of Nuke. Nuke Studio experience is a plus.
• An eye for aesthetics and a constant strive for shot improvement
• Solid understanding of colorspaces
• On-set experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge in look dev and Nuke concepting to help with pitches, decks and DMP briefs
• Strong collaborative skills across all departments
