This role will manage publicity for the Technicolor Creative Studio's entertainment division, which includes Film, Episodic and Gaming.

The applicant will be responsible for strategizing, executing, and distributing publicity campaigns around the launch of tentpole entertainment projects and news, working closely with studio clients and internal stakeholders.

They will play a significant role in communicating with producers, talent, marketing representatives and production company partners during production up to and beyond launch, in addition to reporters globally.

The candidate will also be responsible for identifying and placing thought leadership opportunities, both via earned and paid media.

The ideal candidate will have strong pre-existing relationships across the entertainment media landscape and successful history of placing stories within top-tier entertainment and consumer trades.

Key responsibilities:
• Working with the Director of Communications to build a strategic calendar of communications across entertainment brands, leveraging trends, cultural moments and key tentpole events throughout the calendar year
• Liaising with internal stakeholders and clients on the messaging and communications for major theatrical releases and gaming projects
• Writing and distributing press releases about projects launches and creative talent news
• Pitching thought leadership ideas to a range of media stakeholders
• Ghostwriting thought leadership articles and quotes on behalf of senior staff members
• Seeking out paid media and editorial opportunities
• Building and maintaining relationships with reporters in the Film, TV and Gaming sectors
• Monitoring media sentiment, press coverage and campaign success metrics through Meltwater
• Collaborating with the larger publicity team across Technicolor Creative Studios
• Collaborating with Digital Content team across Technicolor Creative Studios to amplify PR messaging and coverage across digital channels

Qualifications
• 5+ years of validated experience in entertainment publicity and have positive relationships with domestic/international journalists.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Previous experience executing successful PR campaigns for television/film/gaming.
• Previous experience building campaign launch strategies
• Ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under short timelines.
• Experience within a global team and international media markets
• Self-starter who can demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Deep knowledge and understanding of the industry trends and entertainment/television/film/gaming landscape.
• Experience within Visual Effects, Gaming or Creative Technology a plus.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA

Education & Qualifications:
• Degree or equivalent industry experience
• Proven copy-writing ability
