We are looking for a talented and driven mid-level salesperson (5-7 years' experience) to help us develop our direct to brand business in the UK and Europe across our priority categories of automotive, tech, telco, fashion, gaming, sports and entertainment.

Whilst the majority of our revenue is still VFX via creative agencies, we have a clear ambition to increasingly work directly with brands across the full suite of our product offering from Creative Production, VFX/CG, AR/VR as well as brand mascots and digital twins.

Whilst only recently focusing on Direct to Brand sales, we have already secured a number of high-profile brand projects, including:

Duracell

Lexus

Balenciaga

This person will be highly driven and motivated to build relationships with direct to brand clients that are either new to MPC in Europe, leveraging existing relationships elsewhere in the MPC global network, or entirely new clients to MPC.

We have recently appointed the lead generation company, Ingenuity, we are investing in marketing to drive inbound queries to our website, and we also have a CRM database of all existing and lapsed clients, so that the Partnerships Lead will have a solid base to start from to generate new business.

The candidate will be expected to deliver a clear sales strategy with KPIs linked to the overall 'Direct To Brand' sales plan and budget and to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organisation to develop proactive proposals and propositions as well as drive responses to specific client briefs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and build new brand relationships and opportunities to drive revenue to meet sales targets.
• Drive long term commercial relationships with key brands in addition to an ongoing pipeline of project-based revenue.
• Leverage existing and lapsed brand relationships (mindful of not cannabilising existing agency revenue) to drive repeat business.
• Develop a sales strategy and plan hand in hand with senior team to deliver on the Direct to Brand budget.
• Track and manage direct to brand strategic accounts by completing and reviewing quarterly Growth Plans.
• Develop sales propositions, proposals and go to market assets for each priority industry category that can be adapted for use across multiple target accounts.
• Work collaboratively with the team to develop creation solutions in response to client briefs.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Business development and/or sales experience within the production, creative, content, marketing or entertainment sectors.
• Proven track record in driving new business revenue direct to brands for creative led propositions.
• Ability to develop and implement a strategic sales plan with clear KPIs and revenue targets.
• In-depth understanding of and network within the marketing industry, especially in relation to brands, content creation and creative technology.
• An understanding of VFX/CG and production would be ideal.
• Expertise in develop sales propositions and go to market strategies as well as go to market collateral.
• Confident public speaker and presenter.
• International experience would be an advantage.
• Passion for emerging and future technology in content production and delivery.

SUCCESS METRICS / KPIs
• Meeting revenue targets for Direct To Brand.
• Increasing brand count of new Direct To Brand clients.
• Driving repeat business from existing / lapsed Direct To Brand clients.
