The main responsibilities of the Lead Runner are to help manage and supervise the runners' team, delegate tasks to the runners, ensuring proper communication and detailing of tasks and deadlines, as well as filter any special requests and assign them to the appropriate runner. They ensure that all daily tasks are completed by the runners' team and help ensure that all studio spaces are well tended to, and high standards are maintained. The Lead Runner ensures that we maintain an optimal quality hospitality service to clients and employees for MPC Montreal. They act as the main point of contact for Operations services for external clients, ensuring their requests (food, coffee, help navigating the studio space, etc) are received and acted on, delegating the tasks to the runner's team when needed. The Lead Runner is a key role in the Operations team, as they also provide administrative support to the Operations team, helping them with expense reports and receipt bookkeeping, helping manage and rearrange the runner team schedule as needed, as well as placing food, janitorial, and stationery supplies orders in the Office Manager's absence. They are also to act as a backup on a limited scale for the Receptionist role in the event that both the Receptionist and its official backup are unavailable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities will be the following:
• Keep receipt bookkeeping up to date for either company purchase cards and/or petty cash balances.
• Fill out monthly expense reports when required.
• Provide administrative support to the Operations team; helping them archive documents, update processes and training documents, as well as prepare studio signage.
• Be the first point of contact for client services, ensuring that our guests feel at home by providing a first-class service experience.
• Lead and supervise a group of 10-15 Runners to provide general support to our clients and employees, and ensure all daily tasks are completed.
• Frequent control of all studio spaces to ensure areas are presentable at all times and cleanliness standards are maintained (eg, kitchens, meeting rooms, theatres, reception, washrooms)
• Help onboard new members of the Runners team and help train them on all Runner tasks.
• Filter all special requests (treats, events, parties, ad-hoc tasks) and liaison with Office Manager to organize, receive approval, and execute the requests.
• Delegate ad-hoc tasks to the appropriate Runner when needed.
• Help the Office Manager during their absence by placing the necessary food, stationery, and janitorial supplies orders.
• Act as temporary backup for the Receptionist if both the Receptionist and its official backup are unavailable. Scope of tasks will be limited to managing the call line, reception of orders, parcels and goods, as well as Temporary access card management, when needed
