Job Description
Mikros Animation is a global CGI animation studio located in Paris, Montreal, Los Angeles, Bangalore and London, dedicated to feature films and episodic content. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Technicolor production management process
• Act as the main point of contact for all key client communications
• Create performance metrics, assess projects and prepare bids
• Ensure timely delivery of all milestones
• Identify and resolve gaps between schedule, budget and design goals, both internally and externally.
• Partner and strategize with Department Head, Senior management and possibly other Producers to resolve any productivity and/or inventory issues.
• Work closely with the Creative, Technology, Finance, Human Resource to ensure smooth functioning of any assigned task.
• Conflict management

Duty Statements:
• Meet overall production schedule and budget requirements
• Collaborate with Department Head to ensure the complexity of work is consistent with department budget and schedule.
• Create bids in line with provided budgets weighed against complexity and schedule in discussion with all potential stakeholders (DDs, art directors, TDs, Sups- as applicable)
• Prepare and Implement master schedule and daily artist production schedule
• Work with HOPs and obtain client approval for scope changes and overages
• Track project status, identify possible risk in advance
• Define necessary risk mitigation and/or contingency plan and implements them to ensure smooth, timely project completion with the desired quality
• Work with clients (internal and external) to define project technical specifications and delivery requirements in line with allocated budget and time
• Develop and manage internal Department schedules and staffing requirements
• Work with Art Directors, Department Directors and Technical Directors to develop and maintain production workflow
• Create and maintain reports that clearly illustrate Department and individual artist productivity
• Collaborate with Dept Head to cast assignments and issue deadlines to artists. Also partner with Department Head to coach, mentor and give performance feedback.
• Drive review process and deliver reviews
• Partner with Department Head to manage conflict within the department and partner with Human Resources regarding disciplinary procedures. Guide the LP & PM to document conflicts and to provide progress updates to Human Resources
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to set up training for artists
• Guide departments and Production Management teams with handling transitions
• Be involved in the interviewing, hiring process and deal negotiations whenever necessary
• Guide subordinates for maintaining artist morale
• Partner with the Department Heads/Supervisors to manage, motivate and create an environment conducive to achieving productivity targets and artistic achievements
• Validate inputs for the finance team as per provided formats & review the same to ensure engagements are in line with defined criteria (margins, in line with bids etc)
• Ensure accurate and timely partnership with creative and HR so that ratings and feedbacks are completed smoothly.
• Ensure healthy environment on the floor keeping in mind various factors like Work life balance, conflict management, collaboration etc
• Ensure that all verticals work together for smooth, timely & efficient delivery of assigned shows
• Ensure skip level meetings for their respective teams
• Collaborate with Department Directors, Technical Directors and Supervisors to ensure best practices across shows

Qualifications
• Experience in the production of CG working in a project management role
• Excellent estimating, scheduling, and budgeting skills
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Excellent industry relationships and contacts
• Well-versed in project management practices and software (MS Project)
• Working knowledge of 3d production packages (Maya, 3ds Max, Photoshop) & a thorough understanding of 3D pipeline
• Ability to comprehend financial statements
• Outstanding & confident communication and management skills
• Enthusiastic, positive, and team oriented
• An eye for quality and artistic standards as per latest trends
• Capable of foreseeing issues, strategize, escalate & provide solutions
• Experience in handling large teams and high-end clients
