Mikros Animation is happy to announce a new collaboration with Netflix on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the upcoming animated event series based on the Roald Dahl book'' Written, Directed and Executive Produced by Taika Waititi. We are looking for a DMP Supervisor to join our great team for this new adventure! 🍫 🍭

Responsabilities
• Supervise the work of the DMP team by ensuring the high level of quality of the work carried out
• Distribute and assign shots to artists, in collaboration with the production manager and based on inventory
• Implement technical solutions to meet the constraints of the film
• Train the DMP team and contribute to maintaining a good state of mind within the department
• Ensure that the requested retakes are properly taken into account and do the follow-up
• Respect the quotas given by the production
• Delivery of cycloramas skies used throughout the production chain under the supervision of the D.A.

Qualifications

Skills and experience required… 
• Previous experience(s) as a Matte Painting Lead or Supervisor
• Leadership and excellent communication skills   
• Mastery of Nuke and Photoshop
• Good knowledge of Maya 
• Strong knowledge of 3D, the production line of an animated film and the Camera Mapping system
• Technical problem-solving skills  
• Creative sense and ability to understand artistic guidelines  
• Having a good level of English is essential

Additionnal assets: 
• Have experience in Environment
• Knowledge of Python scripting would be an asset
