Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') is seeking an experience Senior Data Science & Machine Learning Engineer who will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining scalable machine learning and BI solutions at MGM. We are looking for a solid machine learning engineer to buildout our machine learning capabilities with strong data science experience to extract our large data sets to create business insights for executive decision making. The candidate will work directly with the product owner to develop and support the products strategic vision from conception to launch. The candidate must possess strong communication skills, and exceptional technical, analytical, and innovative capabilities to effectively work with other engineers, product owners and business users.

Responsibilities:
• Work as a strategic partner of the business
• Be the liaison between business and technology
• Understand technology capabilities required to support business needs
• Educate business users to understand how to improve business efficiency and enable new business models with technology
• Be a thought leader. Proactively propose creative ideas to apply analytics on business problems. Drive innovations and efficiency by implementing analytics solutions
• Product development, business process and requirements
• Understand solution options and technology capabilities. Work with solution architect and development team to define the right technology solution
• Work closely with product owners, architect, UX and developers to translate business requirements into technology design and solution
• Launch new products and features, test product functions and performance, and iterate quickly Oversee product development and release lifecycle. Ensure on time delivery of new product and/or features
• Perform data exploration, data visualization, and data analytics to better understand multidimensional first party and third-party data
• Design, implement and maintain production ML/Science solutions and BI Solutions
• Design, implement and maintain data pipeline needed for ML/Science/BI solutions
• Work closely with other engineers to integrate ML/Science solutions with other services in Amazon
• Conduct A/B testing for new ML models and work closely with scientists to conduct experiments.
• Partner with other analysts and engineers to build analytical solutions to deliver on business goals
• Develop Tableau Dashboard based upon business requirements
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
• Develop expertise in a broad range of data resources and know when, how, and which to use and which not to use
• Participate in sprint planning and other project activities required by Agile software development methodology
• Create functional & non-functional requirements, user stories, as-is and to-be process flows, screen and interface designs, data flow diagrams, reporting and data requirements and data mapping documents
• Drive innovations and efficiency by implementing new business process through technology solutions. Define new data models
• Work with product manager to lead sprint planning and other project activities required by Agile software development methodology
• Provide guidance and directions to business users. Provide training to business users on technology, product, leading practice and methodology
• Create user manuals and/or training documents. Conduct user trainings and drive smooth and efficient implementation of changes
• • Production Support
• Support business users on system configuration, admin and other business activities
• Identify system issues. Trouble shoot and analyze potential solutions including workaround
• Work with business users to document, manage and prioritize bug fixings and enhancements
• Work with architect and developers to test and release new system functions

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
• Minimum 5+ years of professional software development experience in Big Data and Machine Learning fields with end-to-end system implementation experience
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience in working with requirements on BI / Data / Machine Learning/Analytics projects
• Minimum 3+ years of programming experience with Python
• Strong knowledge of SQL and/or python dataframes to handle large datasets
• Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals
• Experience with SageMaker ML services preferred
• Must be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical users
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau, MicroStrategy, or equivalent
• Experience conducting large scale data analysis to support business decision making
• Experience in creating, maintaining, and supporting all application development artifacts including user stories, process flows, screen mockups, data diagrams, business rule definitions, design documents, report requirements and dashboard requirements
• Support the delivery of reports and dashboards for executive management
• Strong analytical and system functional skills, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of seeing tasks through to successful completion.
• Comfort working in a technical environment and able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-motivated, accountable, highly organized and can prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Media & Entertainment industry experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with SageMaker Studio preferred
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, EMR preferred
• Proficiency in Python preferred
• Familiarity with graph databases and machine learning with graphs preferred
