The Associate Manager, Studio Operations' main focus will be to ensure the smooth running of the day-to-day activities at the studio. This role encompasses the management of a wide range of duties with a focus on creating a safe, efficient and fun working environment.

What You'll Do

Studio Operations:
• Provide assistance and drive the Facility team to achieve the successful running of the studio. Maintain high morale, energy, enthusiasm, and champion company core values.
• Manage the seating software platform. As the expert administrator, be able to answer questions and assist other admin users as well as employees. This would also include troubleshooting, updating floor plans, planning and forecasting long term space strategy.
• Run reports from the seating software platform to evaluate data and adapt processes according to the results; present regular summary to the local leadership team
• Work with Executive Producer and show runners for shared space scheduling, troubleshoot conflicts and present solutions
• Manage visitor seating assignments, evaluate visitor setup needs, work with IT and Facilities
• Ensure the health and safety procedures at the studio are being followed and that cleaning schedules and processes are being adapted to the current needs
• Ensure smooth running of day-to-day operations, proactively identify areas to improve and build on efficiency; roll out new programs to support operations
• Direct and evaluate the results from projects and make recommendations on the implementation of new internal services, processes, or systems technologies to meet the organization's objectives
• Project management; skilled at figuring out and managing the processes and timelines necessary to get work accomplished

Public Relations:
• Maintain all Vancouver digital content on ILM.com, social media platforms and the internal studio intranet
• Develop employee media profiles including bios, headshots, interviews and content for spotlight features
• Facilitate external interview and filming requests, manage the on-site activity to ensure that company standards are being followed
• Assist with the organization and coordination of conferences and awards events, including awards season submissions and speaker presentations
• Create media assets for marketing initiatives and for local social media channels
• Assist with special PR and Marketing projects
• Proactively generate and pitch stories about the company, events, people and brand ethics

Studio Culture & Events
• Facilitate execution of company meetings by collaborating across departments to develop the presentation content
• Assist with planning and execution of studio events and employee programs
• Draft internal studio communications taking desired tone and outcome and company culture into consideration
• Create internal content for studio culture development and programs
• Partner with ERG Leadership with communications strategies
• Identify opportunities to grow D&I initiatives, embrace new ways of thinking and apply new information as it becomes available
• Oversee studio clubs/groups, ensure that company standards are being met

What We're Looking For
• Completion of Post Secondary education or equivalent AND
• 2+ years' experience in operational management
• Experience managing social media platforms
• Experience creating and maintaining WordPress sites
• Lead, mentor and grow a team
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail, must be able to multitask and be able to prioritize tasks
• Focus on delivering projects in a timely manner and to a high standard
• Applies critical and creative thinking to resolve issues in the most cost and time-efficient manner
• Clearly convey thoughts, both written and verbally, listening attentively and asking questions for clarification and understanding
• Strong working knowledge of Windows, MS Office package and web applications
• Mid-level Photoshop and/or Illustrator, InDesign, and other media editing software
• Nice to have:
• Developing community and culture with a focus on diversity and inclusion

• Photography and image editing skills
• Interest in film / visual effects / graphic arts industries
