As we grow ILM India, we are seeking a Management Accountant to be a member of our team and be a key part of this exciting opportunity. The Associate Accountant will provide support to the India Finance
team, playing a key role in ensuring expenditure and fixed assets are accurately recorded.
What You'll Do
Accounts Payable – coding, reviewing, verification and processing invoices and payment runs in accordance with management approvals and controls, assist in closing AP module in Oracle after posting
Fixed Assets - maintaining database including preparing of the monthly additions & disposals, running of depreciation, reconciling to the General Ledger, closing FA & CIP in Oracle and periodic review of physical inventories
Oracle Financial System– Implementation and ongoing support
Expense claims - coding, reconciling and processing expense claims
Credit Card Statements - coding, reconciling and processing monthly credit card statements and ensuring payment reconciliations
GST/TAX reporting prep-assist in preparation of reports for GST/Tax reporting
Liaising with suppliers and internal parties for Finance related queries
Review of monthly balance sheet schedules and reconciliations
Assistance with gathering Audit documentation
Time card/Labour Cost Accounting - weekly time card close management in H2G, reviewing time cards for completion, maintaining weekly head counts, completing upload process in Oracle and pushing of weekly labour and timecard data to TM1
Other ad hoc tasks
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
At least 5-8 years of experience
Good working knowledge of accounting ERP, analytical and reporting tools
Identify opportunities to enhance business process
Track own productivity
Maintain good relations with counterparts in other regions
It is critical that the incumbent cultivates a high quality relationship of collaboration with the members in the Finance Department and with other Departments
Required Skills / Competencies:
Ability to work effectively with non-technical employees across the organization and at all levels.
Organized and systematic; decisive, plans well and manages priorities Meticulous and careful with numbers
Good written and verbal communication skills
Confident in ability to work effectively to deadlines
Previous working experience in entertainment/media industry is a plus but not required
