Job Description
We are looking for a 3D Sound Asset Administrator who reflects the innovative spirit, creative talent, and passion for great storytelling and filmmaking that define Lucasfilm.

The 3D Sound Asset Administrator will work closely with internal Lucasfilm departments (and external partners when appropriate) to receive 3D and Sound asset requests, obtain approvals and fulfil when appropriate, and brainstorm options when assets are not available. They will be responsible for maintaining the 3D and Sound Asset libraries to ensure high level of organization, searchability and content accuracy, and to align with all other department workflows and permissions. This role also collaborates closely with internal Asset Group to prioritize requests for SkySound and 3D Asset Group (''SWAG'')

What you'll do
• Attend various meetings with Lucasfilm Franchise partners to provide guidance and customer service for any 3D & Sound needs.
• In close communication with internal Asset Group to align workflows, understand how Stills assets are being handled for each show, and make process suggestions and improvements for Atris and Zendesk.
• 3D Asset Fulfillment
• Maintain and organize 3D Asset Library, including tagging for easy searchability, assigning the correct Access Level as dictated by Story Group, and assigning the correct permissions for stakeholders to browse material.
• Build and improve ''self-service'' method of asset fulfillment, encouraging our clients to search for themselves as an initial method of finding assets.
• Assist clients with requests when assets can't be found or when they need a higher level of assistance.
• Research accurate naming, origin, and metadata information for organizing.
• Monitor Zendesk tickets and act as primary communicator with requesters on behalf of the 3D team.
• Works closely with internal Asset Group to build workflows and structures to receive incoming 3D assets from ''SWAG'', and assist with managing priorities based on incoming requests.
• Sound Asset Fulfillment
• Maintain and organize Sound Asset Library, including transcribing dialogue and tagging for easy searchability, assigning the correct Access Level as dictated by Story Group, and assigning the correct permissions for stakeholders to browse material.
• Build and improve ''self-service'' method of asset fulfillment, encouraging our clients to search for themselves as an initial method of finding assets.
• Assist clients with requests when assets can't be found or when they need a higher level of assistance.
• Research accurate naming, origin, and metadata information for organizing.

• Works closely with internal Asset Group to build workflows and structures to receive incoming Sound assets from SkySound, and assist with managing priorities based on incoming requests.

What we're looking for
• Bachelor's degree and/or minimum 3 years related work experience required
• Knowledge of post-production digital assets
• Demonstrates ability to work in high volume, fast paced production environment. Quick thinking, precise decision making and problem solving skills a must.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to multi-task several projects simultaneously while prioritizing daily activities
• Strong adherence to deadlines
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and highly collaborative
• Must be highly self-sufficient and resourceful
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with Digital Asset Management systems
• Fluency in Windows, Linux, Mac-based programs
• Familiarity of Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, ACDSee
• Fluency in Google Sheets and Docs
• Preferred Skills / Competencies:
• Experience with 3D modeling software
• Ability to distinguish between VFX files and outputs (OBJ, FBX, CAD, tiffs, and jpegs)
• Familiarity with Star Wars universe and terminology a plus
