Role Description

Live Nation, a division of Live Nation Entertainment, is currently seeking a highly motivated, exceptional leader and expert for our newly created Vice-President, Data & Media - International Markets, role. This role will join the International Marketing & Consumer Technology division working across our Live Nation Network of 50+ markets, with 100+ teams and help us to build, develop, grow and lead Live Nation's International and Global business into the next phase of insight, integration, technology and applications.

This role is a key leadership position – understanding business strategy and needs, developing and defining technical solutions, integrating with core business areas including consumer technology, marketing, digital products and media, and ensuring executing with absolute excellence. Working closely with numerous senior teams and division leaders, you will be responsible for both technical knowledge and expertise in data platforms, 3rd party, applications and insights while helping us define the strategy, team, implementation, execution of this strategy to build, support and service our international business network across insight, media and measurement. You will lead a team. You will work directly with global teams across our businesses in global alignment and implementation and work with us to educate, arm and implement across our international business infrastructure toward an industry leading, best -in class, standard.

Among the key technologies you will either own or have responsibility for the availability of Google Tag Manager, Google 360, mParticle, Google AdManager and DV 360),, OneTrust) and other. You will have responsibility for mapping and maintaining data layers across multiple platforms, ensuring global scale reporting and tracking are equivalent across them all with a multi-platform mindset. The unique skill set of data science & analysis combine with CRM and media expertise and applications, leadership, vision and business results-oriented measurement. You will work closely with the marketing insight team to ensure data feeding into Google Analytics is standardised & reliable. CRM strategy, planning and optimization will be part of your portfolio. You will work with our consumer technology team to develop, plan and support integration and execution of data technologies. And, you will work closely with our media teams and marketing division to show the power of data and data technology to drive an industry leading business. You will help ensure best in class data tech tools and products are available, implemented and impacting our growing global business.

Excellent communication skills are vital as successful execution of this role relies on others within the company. Outstanding leadership skill will be a must. A team approach is key to everything that we do. Product teams, Data Governance, Data Privacy, Information Security, Marketing, Media and Engineering are stakeholders. You will need great working relationships with these teams and work within their processes to ensure marketing, technology, sponsorship, media and business needs and program are shared, aligned and coordinated. You will work closely with our head of consumer technology to define and build data Infrastructure plans. Marketing, digital products teams will benefit from data infrastructure in consideration of their programs and execution. And media service will be a key stakeholder and application of audience and data expertise and tools to drive our media buying and execution programs across a global network. You will also field queries and requests to work closely with local market teams and from all businesses within our Live Nation Entertainment family. This role will encompass data technology and platform expertise, implementation and project management on a global scale. Your experience and results will need to include educating and implementation with teams and stakeholders. Extensive knowledge and proven impact of team leadership including senior level expertise in media, data and data technology with media buying, execution and impact measurement will be important, to demonstrate how to apply data insights, technology and optimization to top tier business strategies.

You will need to be highly organized, passionate about the project, vision, opportunity. There will be many live activities, teams, people, division and groups at any one time. A self-starter, an entrepreneurial spirit and very capable of setting goals, leading a business and team, contributing to a broader business plan are part of this role. You will have solid grounding in digital marketing operations with a thorough understanding of the tools, technology, implementation, integration and applications. Agency leadership experience from media, data technology and insights working with Global scale companies will be a great asset. Proven global scale implementation and multi-market management will be key to your success in this role.

As a coordinate division, the International Marketing & Consumer Technology group exists to build, support and service our international network of local teams and divisions across 50+ markets. We select and license best in class tools, platforms and technology and drive their usage. You will develop relationships in a network of data providers with traditional or innovative data technologies as well as internal entities within LNE with emerging data capabilities and lead collaboration to ensure mutual benefits. You will need to be highly organized, to keep on top of many live activities at any one time. You will ensure that BAU activities such as third-party tracking requirements are process-driven, giving visibility of the process to all stakeholders. A part of this process will be to ensure tracking requests are always in the best interests of the wider business. You will have contact with key teams, supporting them, particularly regarding their data technology and application of that technology to develop and fulfill tracking requirements.

Championing 1st party data optimisation strategy is required. The ideal candidate for this role prefers focusing on the big picture, using deliberate, methodological approaches to problem solving and constantly looking for new ways to propel better business objectives and be on the front line of industry infrastructure updates.
