THE JOB

Looking for an experienced Talent Buyer who will be responsible for working directly with clients, booking entertainment for their events of all sizes. In harmony with the other Buyers in the office, this Talent Buyer will propose prospective artists to clients, check avails, routing and pricing, write and submit offers, review and edit contracts, provide oversight on ticketing, marketing, and advancing, and file administrative reports as needed. This is not a remote position; applicant must be able to work in person in our Nashville office.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Develop new and maintain established client contacts
• Research Artist sales histories per market
• Determine viability of Artists based on communication with agents
• Propose Artists based on client's needs and budget
• Write and submit offers to agents
• Upon confirmation, review and edit contracts and riders for client's approval based on Neste Live!'s protocols.
• Ensure payment schedule is followed
• Coordinate marketing efforts for announcement, on-sale, and general advertising campaigns.
• Connect Artist and venue personnel to ensure efficient exchange of information pertaining to ticketing and production
• Track relevant data on Excel, including but not limited to event schedules, contract and finance logs, sales statistics, etc.
• Manage on-line files ensuring all essential documents are present prior to day of show (contracts, W-9s, and riders)
• Participate in day-to-day activities with the other team members
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times
• Assist with other duties as assigned on a regular or occasional basis
• Attend and work events in and out of town.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Minimum Requirements:
• High School diploma required
• Must be 18 years or older
• Submission to background check
• Commit to a minimum work schedule of 40-50 hours per week
• Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms
• Effective communication
• 3 years of Talent Booking experience

Preferred:
• A degree in Business Administration, Management or Marketing/Communications is preferred, but not required
• 5 years Talent Booking experience and strong Agency and Client relationships

Skills:
• High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

Physical Work Demands:
• Ability to work in a very fast paced environment with considerable noise and interruptions. Must be able to change activity frequently.
• Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends).
