The Team
The Live Nation Marketing & Data team serves to provide our partners in Live Nation Concerts, Ticketmaster, and Sponsorship with best-in-class support for everything from digital ads to data platform management. We collaborate closely with our internal partners to help understand their business needs, develop a marketing and data strategy, define a shared roadmap, and deliver the work needed to achieve our goals. The Role
Live Nation Entertainment is looking for a talented, highly motivated, creative and passionate Senior Software Engineer that will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and maintaining marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). These campaigns will be sent through both email and push channels.
In this role, you will be part of a team of developers that works closely with the marketing team. You will play a critical role in the design and implementation of how marketing campaigns are executed. The candidate must have good communication skills and be able to clearly articulate questions and concerns with stakeholders and business teams.
In addition to marketing emails, the team also supports critical transactional emails, which are partially supported by systems external to SFMC. The candidate will have the opportunity to build and maintain these systems in Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Responsibilities
• Design, build, test, optimize and execute email and push marketing campaigns.
• Design, build and test dynamic emails and pushes.
• Develop, maintain and monitor critical transactional emails, like Reset Password and Purchase Confirmation.
• Work with other team members to administer three instances of SFMC.
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule, including after-hours support.
• Build and maintain processes external to SFMC in Amazon Web Services.
• Work closely with Product Management, Program Management, and business stakeholders while designing, building, and launching new marketing campaigns.
• Finding solutions to scalability and developing tools and processes to reduce overhead.
• Participate in peer code reviews and provide feedback to other members of the team.
• Understand business goals and drivers and translate those into an appropriate technical solution.
Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Proficiency with building emails, including expertise in Ampscript and an understanding of HTML, specifically for emails.
• Experience with administering SFMC accounts and Business Units.
• A working knowledge of SQL.
• A competency with Server-side Javascript.
• A familiarity with AWS.
• A familiarity with Agile development.
• A familiarity with the SFMC API is a plus.
• Experience with Java and / or Python is a plus.
• Experience with Gitlab and CI/CD is a plus.
