Sr Accountant

Job Description

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Senior Account for the Corporate Accounting team to assist in providing accounting support to Live Nation's IT team and various other businesses across the company. Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with internal financial reporting, preparing various operational and capital cost tracking schedules, cost allocations, and supervise AP functions such as purchase orders and invoices.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead monthly status meetings with IT business leaders to review financial performance, staffing issues, capital projects, etc.
• Complete monthly IT income statement and project variance analysis
• Assist with updating IT forecast monthly and presentation to senior leadership quarterly
• Lead IT budget preparation annually including various cost allocations
• Track and provide finance support for various capital projects, service contracts, software licenses, and consultant agreements
• Assist with Purchase Order workflow, invoice reviews, and GL coding
• Review and approve invoices, invoice allocations, expense reports, and staffing changes
• Prepare and review various month end journal entries and support schedules
• Assist with internal and external audit requests
• Dotted line supervision of Staff Accountant
• Provide accounting support to other non-IT teams as assigned
• Other duties as assigned by management

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CPA eligibility a plus
• 3-6 years accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
• Oracle experience a plus
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Multi-task oriented
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organization skills
