THE JOB

The Special Events Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the Director of Special Events Marketing to create and execute integrated brand marketing campaigns that spotlight meetings and special events across Live Nation's 150 venues nationwide. In this role, you become a key marketing resource for the special events sales and marketing team. Actively engage in seeking, negotiating, and securing strategic media campaigns, partnerships, and promotions. Your job duties will play a strong role in enhancing awareness, providing support, and generating revenue-driving campaigns for the growth of the special events department. This position is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of special events on a national scale for a diverse portfolio of venues.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Support the strategic roadmap and integrated marketing plans for Live Nation Special Events.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to coordinate and launch campaigns.
• Target and market ''products'' to B2B and B2C audiences for special events (Corporate, Convention, Social, Weddings, Private Dining, Private Concerts).
• Develop impactful and audience-focused content that is distinctive and thought-provoking.
• Utilize industry news coverage and trends to identify key data and insights for thought leadership.
• Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, securing coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
• Solicit, negotiate, secure, and help cultivate partners for promotional and media programs.
• Serve as the liaison between external agencies and partners for sponsorships, partnerships, media buying, and others as needed.
• Work with the national marketing team to test, monitor, and measure existing and new advertising channels to directly impact Special Events sales.
• Use insights and partner with venues and accounts to build local programs.
• Manage related marketing systems and rollouts for special events, such as proposal software, survey software, and CRM related systems.
• Organize marketing materials in Box and assist team members in navigating assets by keeping all content organized and updated.
• Manage, create, and present reporting and suggest data-driven decisions for optimizations.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 5+ years of work experience in brand management, client service, media or entertainment, special events, and/or marketing consulting, sales, advertising, or activation agencies.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive execution at every stage.
• Understanding and working knowledge of PR, digital marketing, and social media.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel for attending meetings and events as needed, including special events, venue visits, team meetings, and industry conferences.
• Ability to pitch and execute strategic partnerships and assets for promotional programs.
• Strong management skills with multi-market supervision experience.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be solutions-oriented, and have proven skills in multitasking while exhibiting flexibility.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset for trying new, innovative approaches.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exhibit good judgment, and exceptional organizational skills
• Bachelor's Degree.
