Front Gate Tickets is North America's leading software and operations provider for the festival market. We provide technical solutions for e-commerce ticketing, access control, data management, and fan engagement. We partner and run on-site operations for over 200 festivals each year and are on a massive growth trajectory matched by no one in the industry. We do it for the fans! Front Gate is owned by Live Nation Entertainment and acts as Ticketmaster's festival arm.

The Team:
Our product development team is responsible for designing and building the technical solutions that make up North America's premier festival ticketing platform. We are a modestly sized group that takes pride in the breadth of our product offerings and our ability to deliver timely results. Our products cover (but are not limited to) ecommerce, box office management, marketing, fulfillment services, and on-site access control. With the highly anticipated return of live events on the horizon, we're looking for individuals to help us design and build the next generation of tools for our best-in-class platform.

The Role:

The QA Engineer II's responsibility is to help us ensure our customers have the best ticket buying and festival going experience possible as well as supporting internal stakeholders and processes. You will be integral in ensuring a quality product is delivered by testing software and systems.

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to understand requirements and design test cases that meet company needs with respect to functionality and adherence to QA standards
• Review requirements for validity, consistency and testability
• Plan and execute both manual and automated tests
• Identify, analyze, report, track bugs, and drive issues to resolution
• Review defects raised by business stakeholder and update for accuracy as necessary
• Advise stakeholders and developers regarding usability issues
• Maintain, debug and develop test automation

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Required:
• 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance role
• Experience in designing, documenting and executing test cases
• Knowledgeable of Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies
• Knowledgeable of software development methodologies
• Experience using Test Case Management tools
• Experience in debugging and developing automated tests
• Knowledgeable of REST APIs and associated testing tools

Desired:
• Experience working in Scrum teams
• Software quality engineering experience in eCommerce applications
• Basic coding experience in any major language
• Working knowledge of SQL

• Passion for product quality and eagerness to learn new technologies
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation, written and listening
• Extremely well organized and works efficiently
• Ability to independently work around obstacles
• Ability to assess risk and come up with mitigation plans
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Ability to work semi-independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends when necessary
