THE TEAM

This role is a core function within our Global IT and Salesforce Technology department and will report to the Senior Programme Manager. This role will deliver projects for our Salesforce platforms across our complex global organisation.

The Global Salesforce Team supports B2B Salesforce across the entire Ticketmaster business globally, with core teams located in North America and the United Kingdom. We support several Salesforce orgs and nearly 2,000 users in 25+ countries. The team operates within the broader Salesforce footprint of our corporate parent, Live Nation.

The Global Salesforce Team is a service organization dedicated to delivering world-class enabling technology to the global Ticketmaster and International Live Nation businesses. As such, the team prides itself on building and maintaining close relationships with business leaders as well as developing a deep understanding of the business processes and challenges they face every day. The team is tasked with assuring that the Salesforce platform and its associated technologies are properly maintained following best practice methodologies and importantly following our global data privacy and governance models, our audit and compliance policies and procedures, along with ensuring our systems are kept safe and secure following both IT, Compliance, Data Privacy and Information Security policies.

THE JOB
• You will have experience of delivering projects, ideally in a mixed methodology environment, providing a consistent, reliable service to business sponsors and stakeholders and your colleagues. In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day management of project(s), coordinating activities and deliveries that span technology and operational teams. You will be comfortable with complexity and will have the aptitude and contextual perspective to understand how multiple parts work together. You will be able to adapt to different areas of the business to meet demands.
• You will understand the importance of setting clear objectives and agreeing a set of key results to demonstrate the success of outcomes and initiatives and ensuring they are met. Crucially, you will be a great communicator – you'll be able to communicate through metrics, showcases and presentations and tailor messages appropriately for the target audience whether discussing project health with the Global Salesforce Technology team or presenting at steering groups.
• The person in this role will have the ability to motivate those involved in the projects. At Ticketmaster we understand that it is our people and our teams who make us great. You will be a team player who works closely with peers to agree effective strategies for delivering business outcomes. You will work to ensure appropriate team structures and resources are in place to support delivery and help teams deliver rapidly and safely.
• In particular this role will:
• Manage and deliver Salesforce technology projects by coordinating work packages, phases, key milestones and deliveries, and developing concrete plans based on a clear scope
• Set up and provide ongoing management of robust project controls, methodologies and reporting measures as appropriate to the scale and complexity of the work.
• Adapt to different areas of the business to manage and deliver projects where needed
• Responsible for closely monitoring each project to ensure it remains on track, meets deadlines and outcomes in accordance with quality and benefit targets using defined controls, processes and support tools, following defined PMO project management methodologies and throughout its full lifecycle
• Manage the complete lifecycle and facilitate the team to transition from phase to phase, including project closure and handover, which may include training and communications, enabling the delivery of the project objectives
• Can conduct analysis and generate correct figures to make appropriate recommendations for low/medium complexity projects and present it in a logical form using defined models
• Manage the engagement with key business stakeholders on projects
• Control this relationship to ensure a consistent message and prevent problems and unnecessary changes.
• Create an environment for success, setting the tone for the project and establishing that Ticketmaster is committed to success, while acknowledging and dealing with issues.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Be responsible for delivering projects to quality, on time and on budget
• Build and maintain relationships with business stakeholders.
• Able to support the production and maintenance of business case submissions on behalf of Salesforce Technology, as and when required
• Work with the Senior Programme Manager to define and set up the project documentation so it clearly defined the scope, aims, objectives, deliverables and benefits with the right resources assigned to ensure project success.
• Establish the effective governance to support the project. This includes the definition of the roles and accountabilities, reporting and decision-making structures, appropriate checkpoints and supporting processes.
• Assist the Senior Salesforce Programme Manager with stakeholder management and preparing presentations and project data for global Salesforce Steering Group Meeting. Understand the correct structure for varying purposes and audiencesDefine how objectives are shaped and documented to enable stakeholder understanding and buy in to required activities and outcomes
• Compile, assess and sequence required deliverables and activities against plan including updates to documentation, stakeholders and team
• Ensure plans are developed with the right tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, Smartsheet) to a sufficient level of detail appropriate to the size/scale and complexity of the project. Plans should include details on activities, timescales, linkages/dependencies, constraints, milestones and outputs, as well as highlighting resources, risks and associated costs.
• Make efficient and effective use of relevant data and tools (e.g. Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, Asana, JIRA) to collate, process, forecast, manage and present project data.
• Collaborate with teams to identify and manage activities, changes, scope management, forecasts, resource management (including people, assets, tools, information), budgets, quality assurance, risk/opportunities and issues.
• Create regular, concise, professional project reporting, reflecting the true state of progress, determining the key points and messages. Ability to respond to questions of clarification and change as the focal point for the project, ensuring a consistent message.
