THE JOB
Production Labor Coordinator
This role is essential to the success of every Live Nation show. You will be responsible for assisting the local Live Nation Bay Area production team in overseeing show day staff that often includes runners, catering assistants, dressing room assistants, etc. based on the specific needs requested by each Tour. You will serve as a liaison between the production team and the casual labor, ensuring they are properly booked and scheduled in our payroll system.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Work closely with the production team to schedule show day staff (i.e. runners, catering assistants, dressing room assistants etc.) specific to each tour's production needs for all of NorCal including Sacramento
• Book/coordinate rental vans with our local Hertz provider and venue personnel to ensure timely drop off and pick up in accordance with the show schedule
• Communicate relevant status updates with the production coordinator/managers
• On-board new hires through Workday
• Provide information and answer employee questions regarding payroll matters
• Support payroll staff by manually entering hours to meet deadlines for bi-weekly payroll
• Run reports for end of pay period and ensure there are no errors before sending off to FTS
• Be willing to fill in remaining runner positions if necessary
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Required:
• Calm / Professional and customer service oriented
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited information and time constraints
• Computer literate in Windows applications (Excel and Word a must)
• Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Preferred:
• College Degree
• Payroll experience
• Prior production experience in an entertainment venue
• Tour and Stage Production experience
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
• Moderate to loud level or noise in work environment
