THE JOB

Seeking a data-driven, self-motivated individual to join the Venue Nation Strategy & Analytics team. In this position, you will play an important role in driving insights for Venue Nation Leadership across our US Venues portfolio.

The individual will mine operations and cost data to produce dashboards, reports, and analyses to support our initiatives. The individual must have a proven ability to leverage data to solve problems and a desire to investigate and identify key business drivers related to venue operations.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Build automated reporting and trackers focused on operations, staffing, and cost analysis.
• Create visualizations and dashboards using Tableau.
• Create presentations summarizing findings and insights.
• Partner with venue management and leadership to develop deep understanding of operational needs across the system of US venues, including amphitheaters, theaters, and clubs.
• Assist with financial modeling and tracking of key improvement projects to support business leadership in decision making.
• Support ad hoc requests from venue management and business leadership.
• Work with operations/business leaders on cross-functional projects and initiatives communicated across the system of US venues.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field with analytical experience working with large datasets
• Experience with cost analysis, staffing analysis, or variance analysis.
• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Ability to communicate technical and financial information to non-technical operational teams
• Advanced MS Excel skills a must
• Experience with BI tools and reporting
• Tableau experience a plus
• Ability to participate in a collaborative team environment
• Willing to work when necessary to help get overall team goals accomplished
