Monitor Engineer- Ace Of Spades

Job Description

The Venue Monitor Engineer will serve as the house monitor engineer for live touring acts and assist touring monitor engineers with production of the show. They are responsible for working with touring monitor engineers to ensure they have the resources for a successful show and must be available to mix shows. The Venue Monitor Engineer will assist the production team during load-in and load-out.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Serve as house monitor engineer for live touring acts
• Assist touring monitor engineers with production of show
• Responsible for working with touring monitor engineers to ensure that they have the resources for a successful show
• Be available to mix shows
• Assist the production team during load-in and load-out

NON-PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have experience with Avid Systems, specifically Profile consoles
• Live music production experience
• Venue experience preferred
• Some electrical experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Must possess superior interpersonal communication skills
• Must adhere to all safety measures and policies

THE PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS LISTED BELOW ARE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION. THE ACTUAL EXERTION LEVEL (AND FREQUENCY OF USE) CAN AND DOES FLUCTUATE DEPENDING ON THE INDIVIDUAL TASKS BEING PERFORMED.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to move throughout the venue during the entire shift
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Must be able to work in an environment with loud music and crowds for extended periods of time
• Must be able to stand for entire shift
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs
• Must be able to push/pull up to 150lbs
