THE JOB

Live Nation Concerts is seeking a qualified Hotel Lodging Manager for its destination events. We produce intimate and exclusive experiences where everyone is a VIP and no detail is overlooked. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to work efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have experience in controlling and maintaining accurate data, managing processes and a strong understanding of hotel management. This candidate will join our expert team of passionate travel and music lovers.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
• Develop an expert knowledge of Playa Luna Presents events and what we offer along with who we are and how we want to share that vibe and demeanor with our guests
• Develop an expert knowledge of all partner hotels and offered amenities
• Facilitate hotel rooming lists and change reports for all lodging accommodations, within our system or in Microsoft Excel
• Work with Guest Services to coordinate guest data, special requests, and escalations
• Manage crosscheck of hotel confirmation lists as they are received to ensure accuracy
• Troubleshoot onsite guest issues, dealing directly with the hotel for any questions or concerns
• Develop expert knowledge of the inventory management system to manage tasks including but not limited to change requests, hold requests, inventory reductions, additions and risk reporting
• Work alongside Ticketing and Data team to ensure inventory system is fully accurate in order to analyze risk and forecast sales
• Manage and submit hotel payments and assist in tracking budget updates
• Work with Director of Hotel Inventory and Procurement and Finance on settlements and projections
• Assist in sourcing and procuring hotels and conduct hotel research for future events as needed
• Work within company systems and infrastructure to manage work responsibilities IE: Asana, Slack, Filemaker, Ticketing systems, etc.
• Work with the Data team to coordinate changes and ways to improve internal systems
• Ability to travel to events throughout the year and work on-site at extended hours and times

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
• 3-5 years of experience with lodging management or similar operations
• Strong knowledge of the hotel industry and/or the event industry
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or comparable work experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to get assignments done in a timely manner while managing your own day to day schedule
• Ability to maintain, control and communicate deadlines, roadblocks, and escalations as needed
• Ability to provide leadership, prioritize, organize, motivate and problem solve
• Willingness to adopt new project management tools and communication platforms as used by the company
